THE OLI LEIGH TRUST
After the loss of my son Oli who took his life
at 16 to suicide, we wanted to make a difference to our current and future generations mental health & well being.

We are a suicide prevention and mental wellbeing fundraising trust,
delivering our own prevention programme and granting to small charities that can deliver suicide prevention and wellbeing training.

The Oli Leigh Trust is pleased to announce the launch of a new bursary fund to provide essential suicide prevention training for schools, youth groups, sports clubs, voluntary organisations and universities.

As it is both the Oli Leigh Trust’s and the OLLIE Foundation’s mission to create suicide safer communities, and in recognition of the increasingly pressing need of both support and education, both charities have joined forces and can now offer The Oli Leigh Legacy Programme.

The fully funded training will be delivered by the OLLIE Foundation, a suicide prevention charity partnering with the Trust to deliver an innovative and dynamic range of training.

Successful applicants will be able to access talks and training including; Talk Safe, Plan Safe, The Science of Goal Setting, Keeping Safe and Carrying On, and Suicide Awareness of Teens.

Please email contactus@theolliefoundation.org for your copy of the application form.

OUR VISION

The Oli Leigh Trust  believes suicide is preventable not inevitable.
We offer grants to small charities that deliver suicide prevention and mental wellbeing training aimed at reducing the rates of suicide amongst young people.

During the last few years Coronavirus has affected all our children’s mental wellbeing.  The OLT’s mission is to look after our youth and ensure they have a future.

We are constantly speaking to various charities and not-for-profit organisations about ways in which we can assist them by providing much needed funds. Funds are awarded through a careful tender process which takes place annually. This process provides the Trustees with a basis to choose the most appropriate charities to support by way of a grant and ensures that we remain true to our commitment.

To find out more about this year’s grant application process or who we have supported so far please click here.

In order to raise the much-needed funds to be able to make the grants to our chosen charities, the Trust runs various fundraising events and campaigns. It also relies on the generous support it receives from its ambassador, partners and patrons. please click here

"I still find it hard knowing that this is real and that this is forever. I can’t believe that I will never be able to kiss him and hold him and tell him I love him. The loss I feel is with me every moment of the day. I don’t want anyone else to feel like this."   Michelle
